The popularity of our UConn student-athletes helps amplify the reach of various charitable organizations in ways that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Your support enables Bleeding Blue for Good to partner the student-athletes with deserving charities from around the state and, indeed, the world, by covering the marketing costs associated with celebrity promotion. Many charities lack the marketing budget required to truly amplify the incredible work they do. We pay those costs for them, donating in-kind the marketing services, platforms, time, and effort of our athletes to charities that need a voice.

No. Bleeding Blue for Good is an independent corporation with its own Board of Directors to direct entity operations. We receive no funding from UConn. However, while Bleeding Blue for Good is independent, our Board of Directors and Advisory Board include former UConn student-athletes and long-time supporters of UConn Athletics. We have an excellent working relationship with the representatives of UConn and are keeping in close contact with UConn Athletics on compliance issues.
